Documenting materials and trims
Specify every material and trim: the main fabric or yarn, linings, threads, hardware and labels, with as much detail as you have. Where you do not know a precise specification, describe the look and feel you want and let the manufacturer recommend. The point is to leave nothing to guesswork.
Specifying branding and decoration
Document how your branding is applied: the method, the placement, the size and the colours. A clear decoration spec is what makes your logo reproduce cleanly and consistently across a run and across reorders.
